The Lenovo A6000 smartphone which was launched earlier this month in India, will go on sale through pilot flash sale on Flipkart today at 2.00 PM. The device is priced at Rs. 6,999 while only the registered members will be able to participate in the flash sale. The number of units which will be made available for sale today has not been revealed by the company, while Lenovo has asked the registered members to be online 2 to 3 hours before the sale initiates and click on the ‘Buy Now’ option once the product is made available. The buyers will have to complete the purchase process before 6.00 PM since the device will be removed from the cart after that.

Chinese handset maker Lenovo has launched its new smartphone Lenovo A6000 at CES 2015 in Las Vegas. This 4G LTE enabled smartphone will soon arrive in India by the end of January 2015. Under the hood, Lenovo A6000 is powered by 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Quad-Core processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.4 operating system with Vibe UI 2.0. This device features a 5 inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. For storage purpose, this smartphone entails 8 GB of in-built storage which is expandable via microSD card.

It sports 8 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera. This device packs a 2300 mAh battery which is claimed to deliver up to 13 hours of talk time and up to 264 hours of standby time on 3G network. Connectivity options on this device include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The dimensions of this smartphone are 141 x 70 x 8.2 mm while it weighs 128 grams. Additionally, A6000 sports dual speakers from Dolby digital to give ultimate audio experience to the users.

Lenovo A6000 smartphone will compete with the likes of Yu Yureka and Xiaomi Redmi 4G.

Yu Yureka is powered by 1.5 GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon operating system coupled with 2 GB of RAM. The striking feature of this smartphone is that it runs on Cyanogen 11 based Android 4.4.4 Kitkat operating system which delivers security, customization and optimized performance to the users. It features a 5.5 inch HD IPS with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection for scratch resistance. On Imaging front, it sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera and a 5 mega pixel front camera. The rear camera comes with Sony Xmor sensor with features like time-lapse mode and support for slow motion video recording at 60fps.
