The Lava Z71 is priced in India at Rs 6,299. It is now available via Flipkart. Launch offers include Rs 1,200 instant cashback and an additional 50GB of 4G data to Jio subscribers.

The budget smartphone is powered by a 2.0GHz quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 processor and 2GB RAM. The 32GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB).

The 3,200mAh battery offers up to 50 hours of talk time, 9 hours of web browsing, 8.5 hours of video playback, and 485 hours of standby time.

For photos and videos, the Lava Z71 features a dual camera set up on the back. It combines a 13MP primary sensor with a 2MP secondary sensor.

For selfies and video calling, the new handset features a 5MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture and soft flash. Camera features include professional mode, AI Studio Mode, etc.

The Lava Z71 runs the Android 9 Pie operating system with Star OS 5.1 on top. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, GPS, Micro USB, USB OTG, Bluetooth 5.0, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The dual-SIM smartphone features a 5.7-inch display with HD+ (720×1520 pixels) resolution, a waterdrop-style notch, and a pixel density of 295ppi.

In terms of dimensions, the Lava Z71 measures 145.6 x 70.9 x 9mm and weighs 150 grams. It is available in two color options – Ruby Red and Steel Blue.

For security, the smartphone comes with face unlock support and a fingerprint sensor. Other sensors on the device include accelerometer, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor.
