The Lava Z62 is priced in India at Rs 6,060. Registrations for the device begin on June 18 at 10 am. The new handset is a successor to the Lava Z61 (launched in July last year).
Lava International is also bringing a ‘Throw your TV away’ offer that allows customers a chance to win a Lava Z62 for free in exchange for their old TV set. The new offer is valid on a first come, first serve basis (until stocks last).

The new smartphone is backed by a 3,380mAh battery. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 processor and 2GB RAM. The 16GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB).
In terms of optics, the Lava Z62 sports an 8-megapixel rear camera sensor with an LED flash. For selfies and video calling, it features a 5-megapixel front camera sensor with an LED flash. Camera modes on the device include AI Photo Studio and Professional Mode.
