The Lava O2 is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T616 processor along with 8GB RAM and up to 16GB virtual RAM. The 128GB UFS 2.2 storage can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 512GB).
In terms of optics, the new handset sports an AI-backed dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an LED flash. For selfies and video calling, it sports an 8-megapixel front camera and a screen flash.
The Lava O2 is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W charging. It is touted to offer up to 38 hours of talk time and a standby time of up to 500 hours within a single charge.

The Lava O2 runs the Android 13 operating system. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, GPRS, OTG, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone features a 6.5-inch display with HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, a 269ppi pixel density, and a hole punch cutout.
In terms of dimensions, the Lava O2 measures 165×76.1×8.7mm and weighs 200 grams. It will be available in Imperial Green, Majestic Purple, and Royal Gold colour options.
Additional features on the device include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a face unlock feature, an accelerometer, ambient Light, and a proximity sensor.
