Lava has expanded its Iris series with the launch of Lava Iris Atom 2X smartphone. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Running Android 5.1 operating system, it features a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS display with resolution of 854×480 pixels.
There is 8GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. On camera front, it sports a 5 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3 mega pixel front facing camera. Backed up by a 2000mAh battery, it measures 134x66x9.15 mm in dimensions and weighs 132 grams.

The Lava Iris Atom 2X is priced at Rs. 4,499 and can be grabbed from offline outlets and retail stores across the country.
Looking at the spec-sheet, the Iris Atom 2X is an entry level smartphone which is priced competitively. It will compete with entry level smartphones from brands like Intex and iBall.
Lava also launched its Iris Fuel F1 Mini smartphone earlier this year for Rs. 4,399. Specifications of this dual SIM handset include 1GHz single-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM, Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, 4-inch WVGA (800×480 pixels resolution) display, 8GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 32GB using microSD card), 5 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash, 0.3 mega pixel front facing camera and a 2000mAh battery.
