The new Lava Z61 Pro is priced in India at Rs 5,777. It comes in a Champagne Gold color body with a ProudlyIndian logo on the back.
On the other hand, both the special edition Lava A5 and the Lava A9 come with a tri-colored rear panel. While the new Lava A5 is priced at Rs 1,333, the Lava A9 costs Rs 1,574.
The ‘ProudlyIndian’ special edition variants will only be available in limited numbers. Purchases can be soon made through e-commerce platforms (like Flipkart) and offline retailers.

The Lava Z61 Pro is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core processor (unspecified) and 2GB RAM. It is backed by a 3,100mAh battery.
In terms of optics, the handset sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with the LED flash. For selfies and video calling, it features a 5-megapixel front camera.
Camera features include portrait mode (bokeh), burst mode, panorama, filters, beauty mode, HDR, and night mode. The 16GB internal storage can be further expanded via a micro SD card (up to 128GB).
The Lava Z61 Pro features a 5.45-inch display with HD+ resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi, GPS, USB OTG support, and a Micro-USB port.
The dual-SIM smartphone supports Face Unlock for security. However, it does not feature a fingerprint scanner onboard.
