Amazon has launched a new Kindle Oasis tablet with a colour adjustable front light. It allows you to customise the colour tone from cool to warm. The all-new Amazon Kindle Oasis is priced at Rs 21,999 for the 8GB variant. The 32GB storage variant comes with a price tag of Rs 24,999. It is currently available for pre-orders via Amazon.in. Shipping for the new model starts from August 19.
As part of launch offers, the e-commerce giant is offering all pre-book customers 100 per cent discount on the purchase of any one ebook worth Rs 500. Additionally, the new Kindle Oasis customers are eligible to avail three months of Kindle Unlimited at Rs 2.

The new Amazon Kindle Oasis sports a 7.0-inch display with a pixel density of 300ppi. It comes in Graphite and Champagne Gold colour options. Amazon claims that the new Kindle Oasis can last for weeks on a single charge.
The highlight of the device is the new colour adjustable front light (powered by 25 LEDs). The built-in light lets you customise the colour tone for a comfortable daytime or night-time reading experience. You can even schedule the screen warmth to automatically update the colour tone with sunrise/sunset or customized given time slots.
Apart from colour temperature customisation, the adaptive front light can automatically adjust the brightness of the screen based on lighting conditions.
The new e-book reader features an ergonomic design for one-handed reading. It also sports dedicated page turn buttons on the right side. Additionally, the latest e-ink display technology is touted to offer fast page turns.
The new Amazon Kindle Oasis comes with an IPX8 rating (can survive immersion in up to two metres of fresh water for up to 60 minutes). It is also claimed to withstand accidental drops and splashes.
