Reliance Jio claims that the new headset pairs with your smartphone and lets you make video calls/ host meetings in a 3D holographic environment.
The Jio Glass is said to be already compatible with 25 mixed reality apps (across genres like entertainment, learning, gaming, shopping, productivity, etc) that offer a 3D augmented reality experience.
Additionally, the glasses sport spatial and directional XR sound system that runs all audio formats without any wired attachments.
Users will be able to make calls through voice commands like “Hello Jio, please call XXX and YYYY.”

The holographic video calls will allow users to share and discuss projects and presentations on a large screen. You can also enable virtual interactions through a 3D virtual avatar or even in a 2D manner.
In terms of design, the Jio Glass looks like a normal pair of sunglasses. However, it is thicker in a few places to integrate the sensors and necessary hardware.
The lightweight headset (only 75 grams) features an ergonomic design. It uses a front camera and multiple built-in sensors to allow users to engage in immersive content.
The Jio Glass sports a high-resolution display. Vents are included in the frame for heat dissipation.
