Cupertino-based tech giant Apple is expected to launch three new iPhone variants. Speculations and rumors have suggested a budget 6.1-inch handset. It will be without OLED display and 3D Touch. The company is also predicted to reveal an iPhone X successor with an OLED display. An X Plus variant is also expected. It will be built with a 6.5-inch OLED display. Now an iPhone X Plus leak has surfaced. It is in regard to the smartphone’s schematics.
The iPhone X Plus leak shows us dimensions of the handset. The schematics show some new key features.
iPhone X Plus Leak
The schematics were leaked by Forbes. They show that the 6.5-inch handset sports a triple-rear lens camera.
All the three sensors are vertically placed. The iPhone X Plus leak suggests that the handset will be able to click terrific photographs.
The company could follow the Huawei trend, equipped with a primary, telephoto, and a monochrome lens at the rear. The iPhone X Plus leak could also be false. The Tim Cook-led company could just stay on track with their two lenses module with a flash module in between.
But if the Huawei trend is followed then it will obviously be on the company’s most premium phone– iPhone X Plus variant.
According to the Forbes report, the 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus will measure at 157.2 x 77.1 mm in dimensions. This is a little smaller than the 5.5-inch iPhone 8 Plus which was at 158.4 x 78.1mm.
The budget 6.1-inch iPhone allegedly measures at 147.12×71.52mm. It will allegedly have a single rear camera. There will also be a notch. It will have Face ID. The 5.8 inch and 6.5-inch handsets will be equipped with second-generation Face ID support.
Other Developments
Certain details about the 2018 iPhone models have already been given my security analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. The 2018 iPhone models are speculated to be equipped with bigger batteries. They are also expected to come with USB-C fast charging accessories. It also supports dual-SIM functionality.
Kuo has revealed that information regarding the launch of the handsets and its pricing policy. According to Kuo, the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone model will be sold for somewhere between $600 to $700. The 5.8-inch OLED model would be priced between $800 and $900. The 6.5-inch OLED model would be priced between $900 and $1000.
