Design
On design front, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s look identical. The iPhone 7 however, comes with some changes like the antenna bands have been moved from the rear towards the top and bottom. It lacks 3.5mm audio jack and instead comes bundled with wireless AirPods which let users enjoy music. The iPhone 7 also comes with water and dust resistant IP67 rating. It will also be offered in Jet Black color option in addition to Rose Gold, Gold, Silver and Black colors. The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s are being offered in Rose Gold, Gold, Silver and Space Grey color options.
Display
All the three phones feature a 4.7-inch IPS 3D Touch display with 1334×750 pixels resolution, 326ppi pixel density and oleophobic coating.
Processor & RAM
Under the hood, the iPhone 7 packs a dual-core Apple A8 processor paired with 1GB of RAM. The iPhone 6s has an Apple A8 chipset clubbed with 2GB of RAM. The Apple iPhone 7 comes with a quad-core Apple A10 Fusion processor which is said to be 40 percent faster than the A9 chipset and two times faster than the A8 chipset. iPhone 7’s GPU performance is also 3 times faster than the iPhone 6.
While iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s come in 16/64/128 GB storage variants, the iPhone 7 will be available in 32/128/256 GB storage options.
Camera
The iPhone 6 comes with an 8 MP iSight camera on the rear and a 1.2 mega pixel FaceTime camera. Both iPhone 7 and iPhone 6s are equipped with 12 mega pixel iSight rear cameras and also support 4K video recording. The primary camera of iPhone 7 comes with quad LED two-tone flash, f/1.8 aperture, OIS, 6-element lens and a High-speed Sensor. iPhone 6s comes with f/2.2 aperture.
Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 6s sport 7 mega pixel and 5 mega pixel FaceTime cameras respectively. Front cameras of both the phones come with Retina Flash.
Battery Life
The battery life of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s is 14 hours while the battery life of iPhone 7 is said to be two hours more than the iPhone 6s.
Additional Features
Although all the three models pack fingerprint sensor integrated into the home button, iPhone 7’s fingerprint sensor is the most advanced one.
The iPhone 7 comes with a new stereo speaker system which is said to be louder than the iPhone 6s. Apple has also dropped the 3.5mm audio jack and has introduced AirPods which will allow users to enjoy music wirelessly. iPhone 7 also comes with IP67 rating for resistance against water and dust.

The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s are available in India starting at approx. Rs. 36,990 and Rs. 47,499 respectively. The iPhone 7 will go on sale in India on October 7, starting at approx. Rs. 60,000.
