Price and Availability
Apple is expected to launch the 2020 iPhone lineup (iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max). While there is no inkling of the price, the company is tipped to bring four new iPhone models next year.
The Apple iPhone 11 is priced in India at Rs 64,900 in India for the 64GB variant. The 128GB and 256GB storage variants cost at Rs 69,900 and Rs 79,900, respectively.
Whereas the Apple iPhone 11 Pro is priced in India at Rs 99,900 for the 64GB storage variant. The 256GB and 512GB storage variants cost Rs 1,13,900 and Rs 1,31,900, respectively.
On the other hand, the iPhone 11 Pro Max is priced at Rs 1,09,900 for the 64GB variant. The 256GB and 512GB storage variants cost Rs 1,23,900 and Rs 1,41,900, respectively.

As per recent leaks and reports, the Apple iPhone 2020 will be powered by an A14 Bionic chipset (built on the 5-nanometre process). So far, Apple has been using the A12 Bionic chip (based on the 7nm process).
Apple is also tipped to add Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X55 5G modem to enable 5G support. There will also be a new 120HZ display with a variable refresh rate.
The Apple iPhone 12 series is expected to come in three different display sizes – 5.4-inch, 6.1-inch, and 6.7-inch.
Additionally, the upcoming iPhones are expected to come with a major design change. Several reports hint at a metal frame (similar to iPhone 4) with glass on the front and the back.
The iPhone models might be completely notch-less this year. Previously, Apple hinted at a smaller display notch in 2020, followed by a completely notch-less design in 2021.
The next-generation iPhone lineup is said to come with a rear 3D sensing imaging system and a ‘motion control’ feature.
As per recent reports, Apple is tipped to ditch the Face ID with an in-display Touch ID. It might be built specifically for the Chinese market.
The Apple iPhone 12 Pro is expected to sport a triple camera set up with a 64MP primary sensor, an ultra-wide-angle camera (f/1.6 aperture) and a new Time-of-Flight 3D sensor.
The upcoming handset is said to be backed by a 4,400mAh battery (up from 3,969mAh battery seen in iPhone 11 Pro Max). It will support reverse wireless charging.
Additionally, Apple might finally drop the lightning port in favour of a USB Type-C port.
