Intex has expanded its Aqua series with the launch of Intex Aqua Trend smartphone. Under the hood, it is powered by a 64-bit 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor paired with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and features a 5-inch HD IPS display with 1280×720 pixels resolution.
The device comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded further using microSD card. The Aqua Trend sports a 13 mega pixel camera with LED flash and Sony sensor on the rear while there is also a 5 mega pixel front facing camera onboard. Backed up by a 3000mAh battery, it measures 144.5×72.5×8.9mm in dimensions and weighs 152 grams. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.

The Intex Aqua Trend is priced at Rs. 9,444 and will be available in Grey, Black, Champagne and Silver color options. The handset also comes bundled with a smart flip cover.
Intex also launched Aqua Y2 Power smartphone for Rs. 4,490 last month in July 2015. Specifications of the device include 1.2GHz quad-core Spreatrum (SC7731) processor, 512MB of RAM, Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, 4-inch WVGA IPS (800×480 pixels resolution) display, 4GB inbuilt storage (expandable up to 32GB using microSd card), 5 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash, 2 mega pixel front facing camera and 2900mAh battery. It measures 126x64x10.5mm and weighs 133 grame. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Micro-USB.
