Intex has done it again, after launching the lowest priced smartphone in India (Intex Cloud FX), Intex has today launched the lowest priced Android Kit-Kat (Android 4.4) phone in India priced only at Rs. 2699. This will bring the latest software version of android at the entry level phones and brings some nice features like a 2 MP rear camera with flash and also a front facing camera which comes in handy for video conferencing etc.

Specifications And Features

Taking of features and specifications of the phone, it comes with a 1.3 GHz dual core CPU, has 256 MB of RAM, 512 MB of internal memory, has 2G/Edge data network support. It has a 3.5 inch touch screen display with a resolution of 320×480 pixels. It comes with Dual SIM support as well.

For connectivity, it has 2G data, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 support. It also has FM radio, comes with some pre-loaded apps and games on the phone.

The camera is also loaded with some interesting features like panorama, HDR and continuous shot mode.

This phone comes in colour option of black and grey and is available exclusively on Flipkart only.

 

Expert Analysis

At a price of just Rs. 2699, we can’t expect too much from a phone, however, it gives you a basic smartphone experience with latest Android on board. If you are looking to buy a feature phone around Rs. 2500, we suggest you get the Intex Aqua T2 instead. If you have an even smaller budget, you can get yourself an Intex Cloud FX Firefox OS phone. But if you are looking for performance, this is not the phone to buy as it is not meant for high performance apps or games.
