Intex has expanded its Aqua series of smartphones with the launch of Intex Aqua HD 5.5. Under the hood, it packs a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580w processor paired with Mali-400MP GPU. The phone features a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with 1280×720 pixels resolution.
The Intex Aqua HD 5.5 houses 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory. It supports expandable storage up to 32GB via microSD card and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. On the camera front, it sports a 5 mega pixel primary camera with dual LED flash. There is also a 5 mega pixel front facing camera onboard with LED flash for capturing selfies and making video calls. Backed up by a 2800mAh battery, it is rated to deliver up to 8 hours of talk time.

Intex also launched its Aqua Strong 5.1 smartphone for Rs. 4,999 recently. It features a 5-inch FWVGA IPS display and packs a 64-bit 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor. Other specifications of the phone include 1GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt storage, 5 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash, 2 mega pixel front facing camera and a 2800mAh battery.
