Intex has launched its latest budget smartphone in the Aqua series, called the Intex Aqua Eco 3G. Under the hood, it packs a 1.0GHz dual-core MTK6572 processor. On the front, the device features a 4-inch display with 800×480 pixels resolution). On the software front, the handset runs rather dated Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.
The Aqua Eco 3G houses 256MB of RAM and 512MB of internal memory. It supports expandable storage up to 32GB using microSD card. The phone sports a 0.3 mega pixel primary camera with dual LED flash and a 0.3 mega pixel front facing camera.
Backed up by a 1400mAh battery, the company claims it to deliver up to 5 hours of talk time and up to 220 hours on standby time. Connectivity options which the dual SIM phone offers, include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. It measures 124.3×63.3×11.2 mm and weighs 118 grams.

Priced at Rs. 2,400, the Intex Aqua Eco 3G is listed on company’s official website. There is no word on availability of the smartphone as of now.
Intex also launched its Aqua Strong 5.2 smartphone for Rs. 6,390. It comes with a 1.0GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6535 processor, Mali T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and features a 5-inch FWVGA display. Other specifications include 5 mega pixel primary camera with LED flash, 2 mega pixel front facing camera and a 2800mAh battery.
