Intex Aqua Air With 5-inch Display, 3G Support Launched At Rs. 4,690: Specifications & Features

Expanding its Aqua series, Intex has introduced a new smartphone, dubbed the Intex Aqua Air. As far as specifications of this entry level smartphone are concerned, it is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core MediaTek MTK6572W processor paired with 512MB of RAM. It features a 5-inch IPS display with 854×480 pixels resolution and runs Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.

There is 8GB of internal memory which comes with microSD card support enabling expandable storage of up to 32GB. The Aqua Air sports a 2 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3 mega pixel front facing camera.

Backed up by a 2300mAh battery, it is claimed to deliver up to 8.5 hours of talk time and up to 300 hours of standby time. The device measures 145.5×72.8x10mm, weighs 151 and will be available in Black, White, Grey and Champagne color options. Connectivity options which the handset offers, include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.

Price & Availability

The Intex Aqua Air is now listed on company’s website with a price tag of Rs. 4,690. There is no word on availability of the handset as of now. Intex is expected to announce availability details in the coming days.

Another budget smartphone, called the Aqua Q7 was spotted listed on company’s official website earlier this month. It is priced at Rs. 3,777. Specifications of the handset include 1.2 GHz quad-core SC7731 processor, 512MB of RAM, Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, 4.5-inch FWVGA (854×480 pixels resolution, 320ppi pixel density) display, 8GB internal memory (expandable up to 32GB via microSD card), 2 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash, 0.3 mega pixel front camera and 2000mAh battery.
