Intex has launched a new budget smartphone in Aqua series, called the Intex Aqua 3G Neo. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731) processor paired with 512MB of RAM. Running Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, it features a 4-inch WVGA IPS display with 800×480 pixels resolution.
There is 4GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It sports a 2 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3 mega pixel front facing camera. Backed up by a 1500mAh battery, it is claimed to deliver up to 8 hours of talk time and 180 hours of standby time.
The handset measures 125x65x10mm in dimensions, weighs 105 grams and will be available in White, Black, Blue and Champagne color options. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Micro-USB.

Priced at Rs. 3,690, the Intex Aqua 3G Neo is now listed on company’s website. There is no word on availability of the handset as of now.
Intex also launched its Aqua Sense 5.0 smartphone for Rs. 4,690. Specifications of the device include 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731) processor paired with 512MB of RAM, Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, 5-inch qHD IPS (960×540 pixels resolution) display, 8GB inbuilt storage (expandable up to 32GB using microSD card), 5 mega pixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash, 0.3 mega pixel front facing camera and a 2000mAh battery. It measures 145.5x73x8.9mm and weighs 160 grams.
