Intel has launched its Intel Compute Stick in the Indian market. This tiny device lets users to convert any HDMI enabled TV or monitor into a full fledged PC which can be used for performing various functions such as browsing internet, streaming videos, creating spreadsheets or presentations and playing games.
Users will just have to plug this compute stick in the HDMI port of TV or monitor to transform it into PC. As for specifications, the compute stick is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F processor. Based on the operating system, it comes in two variants- Windows 8.1 variant which runs Windows 8.1 with Bing (2GB of RAM, 32GB storage) while Linux variant runs Ubuntu 14.04 OS (1GB of RAM, 8GB storage). As for connectivity, both variants support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB port options.

Price and Availability
The Intel Compute Stick is available to buy in India from Flipkart and iBall. The Compute Stick with Windows 8.1 Bing is available to buy for Rs. 9,999 from Flipkart. The company is yet to announce pricing of the Linux variant.
