The Infinix S5 is priced in India at Rs 8,999. It will be available in Quetzal Crystal and Violet color options. Sale starting from October 21 via Flipkart.

The new smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor and 4GB RAM. The 64GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB).
The Infinix S5 is backed by a 4,000mAh battery. It is rated to deliver up to 18.8 hours of talk time on 4G and 32 hours of music playback.
Cameras
On the back, the affordable handset sports a quad camera setup. It includes a 16MP primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture), a 2MP Super Macro lens (shoots at 2.5cm), a 5MP wide-angle lens (114-degree field of view), and a 2MP depth sensor.
On the front, the Infinix S5 sports a 32MP selfie camera with /2.0 aperture. It also comes with an AI 3D Face Beauty mode and 4-in-1 pixels technology.

The Infinix S5 runs Android 9.0 Pie operating system with XOS 5.5 Cheetah on top. A fingerprint scanner is placed on the back.
The dual-SIM smartphone sports a 6.6-inch display with HD+ (720 x 1600 pixels) resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, 480 nits peak brightness, and a 90.5 percent screen-to-body ratio.
