Infinix has launched a new variant of its S4 smartphone in India. The 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage model will join the already available 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant (launched in May this year). The Infinix S4 is priced in India at Rs 8,999 for the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant. It comes in Nebula Blue, Space Grey, and Twilight Purple color options.
The new 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage model comes with a price tag of Rs 10,999. However, as part of an introductory offer, it is available at Rs 8,999 via Flipkart. The base will be available at Rs 7,999 during Flipkart Big Freedom Sale from August 8.

The new smartphone is backed by a 4,000mAh battery. It is powered by a 2.0GHz MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core processor and 3GB/ 4GB RAM. The 32GB/ 64GB internal storage can be further expanded via a dedicated microSD card slot (up to 256GB).
In terms of optics, the Infinix S4 sports a triple camera set up at the back. It combines a 13-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture) with an 8-megapixel secondary sensor (120 degrees ultra-wide lens, f/2.2 aperture), a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor, and a quad-LED flash.
For selfies and video calling, the new handset sports a 32-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture and a screen flash. The auto scene detection feature includes eight modes such as portrait, text, night, backlight HDR, blue sky, sports, etc.

The Infinix S4 runs on Android 9 Pie operating system with XOS 5.0 on top. Connectivity options include Bluetooth v5, Micro-USB port, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The dual-SIM smartphone features a 6.21-inch display with HD+ (720 x 1520 pixels) resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and 2.5D curved glass protection. It measures 156 x 75 x 7.9mm and weighs 155 grams.
For security, the new handset comes with Face Unlock feature and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Other sensors on the device include a G-sensor, proximity sensor, light sensor, and an e-compass.
