The Huawei Y9s is priced in India at Rs 19,990. It will be exclusively available through Amazon from May 19.
Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the delivery will be limited to the Green and Orange zones for now.

The new smartphone is powered by an octa-core Kirin 710F processor (4 x 2.2GHz Cortex-A73 cores + 4 x 1.7GHz Cortex-A53 cores) and 6GB RAM.
The Huawei Y9s is backed by a 4,000mAh battery. The 128GB UFS2.1 storage can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 512 GB).
For photography, the Huawei Y9s sports a triple camera setup on the back. It uses a 48MP primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture), an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens (f/2.4), and a 2MP depth sensor (f/2.4).
For selfies and video calling, the handset comes equipped with a 16MP front camera (f/2.2). It is placed in a pop-up module.

The Huawei Y9s runs Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9.1 on top. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/A-GPS/ GLONASS, and a USB Type-C port.
The dual-SIM smartphone features a 6.59-inch LCD FullView display with Full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,340 pixels) resolution and a pixel density of 391ppi.
The Huawei Y9s measures 163.1 x 77.2 x 8.8mm and weighs 206 grams. It comes in two color options – Breathing Crystal and Midnight Black.
A fingerprint sensor is placed on the side. Other sensors on the device include an ambient light sensor, gyroscope, compass, and a gravity sensor.
