The Huawei P40 Lite 5G is the latest addition to the company’s smartphone portfolio. In terms of specs, it differs from the recently launched Huawei P40 Lite.
The new handset comes with a Kirin 820 octa-core 5G processor and a quad rear camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor. Let’s take a closer look:

The Huawei P40 Lite 5G is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 820 5G octa-core processor and 6GB RAM. The 128GB storage can be expanded (up to 256GB) via a Nano Memory SD card.
In terms of optics, the handset sports a vertically-aligned quad camera set up at the back. It uses a 64MP primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture), an 8MP ultra-wide lens (f/2.4), a 2MP macro lens (f/2.4), and a 2MP depth sensor (f/2.4).
For selfies and video calling, the Huawei P40 Lite 5G sports a 16MP front camera (f/2.0). The 4,000mAh battery comes with 40W SuperCharge fast charging support.

The Huawei P40 Lite 5G runs Android 10 OS with EMUI 10.1 on top. Connectivity options include 5G (SA/NSA), Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, NFC, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The dual-SIM smartphone sport a 6.5-inch LCD with full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) resolution. It features a hole-punch for the selfie cam.
The Huawei P40 Lite 5G measures 162.31 x 75.0 x 8.58mm and weighs 189 grams. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the side.

The Huawei P40 Lite 5G is priced in Europe at EUR 399 (approx Rs 32,800). It now up for pre-order. Sales start on May 28.
The new smartphone comes in Midnight Black, Space Silver, and Crush Green color options. Pre-order customers will also get a free Huawei FreeBuds 3i accessory.
In February. another Huawei P40 Lite model was launched in Europe. It is priced at EUR 299 (approx Rs 23,300).
