Price and Availability
The new smartphone series (Huawei P30, P30 Lite, and P30 Pro) will be launched at an event in Paris on March 26. It is expected to be priced at EUR 1,024 (approx Rs 80,000) for the 8GB RAM/ 128GB internal storage. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price and launch date.

The new handset will be powered by a 1.80GHz HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor along with 8GB/ 12GB RAM and 128GB/ 256GB/ 512GB internal storage. It is expected to support 5G network, 16MP front camera, and 4,200mAh battery with TÜV Safe Fast-Charge system. The Huawei P30 is said to come with 8GB RAM.
Clement Wong (Huawei’s VP of Global Product Marketing) has confirmed that the Huawei P30 Pro will sport a periscope-style zoom camera. This hints at mechanical zoom lens integration. A new teaser video also hints at integrated stereo speakers.
Previous leaks and rumors claimed that the Huawei P30 Pro is said to sport a quad rear camera setup with a 40-megapixel Sony IMX607 primary sensor (powered by Exmor RS image processing technology). It is accompanied by a 20-megapixel secondary sensor, 8-megapixel tertiary sensor, and a TOF (Time Of Flight) sensor.
Additionally, it is said to support the 5X lossless optical zoom. The Huawei P30 will come with a triple rear camera setup. The vertically aligned camera set up will be accompanied by a dual-LED flash module. The handset will feature a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
The new Sony sensor is tipped to have a three-speed native sensitivity with ISO 50/ 500/ 5000. The 1/1.8-inch back-illuminated and stacked CMOS image sensor use a Dual Bayer with a white HDR Coding array and a built-in high-SNR (signal-to-noise ratio) to offer vivid colors with low noise. Additionally, it includes a built-in temperature and light sensors.

As per recent leaks and rumors, the upcoming smartphone will feature an identical design to the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. It is expected to arrive with a wide dewdrop notch and a curved glass OLED display. It will feature a waterdrop-shaped notch and an optical in-display fingerprint sensor.
Additionally, the 6.5-inch display is likely to come with full HD+ resolution (1080 x 2240 pixels) and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The curved OLED display panel could be manufactured by China’s BOE or South Korea’s LG Display. The Android (9 Pie) handset is likely to run EMUI 9.1. The Huawei P30 is said to come with a 6.1-inch OLED panel.
The Huawei P30 Pro is likely to come in three gradient color options – Black, Sea Green, and Electric Blue.
