While the new smartphone features identical design and specifications as the last year’s Huawei P30 Pro, it comes in a new Silver Frost color option.
Since the new Huawei smartphones can’t run Google apps, the new version of Huawei P30 Pro seems like a move to circumvent the restriction.

The new handset is powered by Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 980 octa-core processor along with 720 MHz ARM Mali-G76MP10 GPU, 8GB LPDDR4x RAM, and 256GB internal storage.
In terms of optics, the Huawei P30 Pro sports a quad rear camera set-up with a 40MP RYYB sensor (f/1.6 aperture), a 20MP ultra-wide sensor (f/2.2 aperture), an 8MP sensor with a 5x telephoto lens (with OIS), and a ToF depth-sensing camera.
Camera features include 10x hybrid zoom, 50x digital zoom, up to ISO 409600 range, Laser AF, PDAF, CAF, and AIS.
For selfies and video calling, the handset sports a 32-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture. The 4200mAh battery comes with Huawei SuperCharge fast charging support (can charge up to 70% in 30 minutes).

The Huawei P30 Pro runs on the Android 9.0 Pie operating system with Emotion UI 9.1 on top.
Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz) (wave2), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS (L1 + L5 dual band), NFC, and USB Type-C port.
The dual-SIM /smartphone sports a 6.47-inch OLED display with Full-HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution, HDR support, and a DCI-P3 Color Gamut. It also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The Huawei P30 Pro measures 158 x 73.4 x 8.41mm and weighs 192g. The flagship handset comes with an IP68 rating (water and dust resistant).
Additionally, it comes with Huawei Acoustic Display Technology that projects sound from the vibrations in the display to your ear (via electromagnetic sound levitation).

The Huawei P30 Pro New Edition is priced in Germany at EUR 749 (approx Rs 61,100) for the 8GB RAM/ 256GB storage variant.
The new model is now up for pre-sale in Germany. Pre-order customers will get a Huawei FreeBuds 3 and Huawei Mini Speaker free. There is also an option to choose the Huawei Watch GT 2 alongside for just EUR 99 (approx Rs 28,500) extra.
The Huawei P30 Pro New Edition comes in Black, Aurora, and Silver Frost color options. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price and launch date.
