The Huawei Nova 8 SE comes in two editions – a standard and a ‘High Edition’. The new series follows the Huawei Nova 7 SE (launched in April this year).
The Huawei Nova 8 SE standard edition is priced at CNY 2,599 (approx Rs 29,100). It comes in Deep Sea Blue, Magic Night Black, Silver Moon Stars, and Sakura Snow Clear Sky color options.
On the other hand, the Huawei Nova 8 SE High Edition comes with a price tag of CNY 2,699 (approx Rs 30,200).
Sales will start in China on November 11. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price tag and launch date.

The new Huawei Nova 8 SE models come with different octa-core processors. Also, only the High Edition comes with 5G support.
Both smartphones feature a 6.53-inch OLED display with Full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) resolution and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Other sensors on the devices include a gravity sensor, compass, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. Let’s take a closer look:

The new smartphone is powered by an octa-core Dimensity 720 processor along with Mali-G57 GPU, 8GB RAM, and 128GB internal storage. It runs Android 10 OS with EMUI 10.1 on top.
On the back, the Huawei Nova 8 SE sports a quad-camera setup. It supports 10x digital zoom and 4K video recording.
The 64-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.9 aperture) is combined with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle (f/2.4), a 2MP depth sensor (f/2.4), and a 2MP macro lens (f/2.4).
For selfies and video calling, the smartphone comes equipped with a 16MP front camera (f/2.0). It is backed by a 3,800mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging.
Connectivity options include 5G (High Edition only), 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port.

Huawei Nova 8 SE High Edition
The special edition smartphone is powered by an octa-core Dimensity 800U processor. It also comes with 5G support. Other specifications are the same as the standard edition.
Both the Huawei Nova 8 SE and Huawei Nova 8 SE High Edition measures 161.6 x 74.8 x 7.46mm and weigh around 178 grams.
