The Huawei Nova 8 is priced in China at CNY 3,299 (approx Rs 37,200) for the 128GB storage variant. The 256GB storage model costs CNY 3,699 (approx Rs 41,700).
On the other hand, the Huawei Nova 8 Pro comes at CNY 3,999 (approx Rs 45,100) and CNY 4,399 (approx Rs 49,600) for the 128GB storage and 256GB storage variants, respectively.
Shipping will start in China on January 7. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price tag and launch date.

Specifications and Features
The new Nova series smartphones sport quad rear camera setups with a similar configuration. However, only the Pro model comes with dual selfie cameras.
While the Huawei Nova 8 comes with a 6.5-inch full-HD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate, the Huawei Nova 8 Pro features a 6.72-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Both smartphones come with Kirin 985 SoC, 5G support, and 66W fast charging support. Let’s take a closer look:

The new smartphone is powered by an octa-core Kirin 985 processor along with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage.
On the back, the Huawei Nova 8 sports quad-camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro camera.
Camera features include 10x digital zoom. For selfies and video calling, the handset comes equipped with a 32-megapixel front camera.

The Huawei Nova 8 runs Android 10 OS with EMUI 11 on top. Connectivity options include 5G, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and USB Type-C port.
The dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone is backed by a 3,800mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. It measures 160.12 x 75.1 x 7.64mm and weighs 169 grams.
The 6.57-inch curved OLED display comes with Full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,340 pixels) resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
