The new smartphone comes in two camera and two RAM variants. The new 6GB RAM variant (20MP primary sensor) is now available in the Chinese market at CNY 2799 (approx Rs 29,500).
The Huawei Nova 4 is priced in China at CNY 3,399 (approx Rs 35,300) for the 48MP camera variant (8GB RAM). Another variant with a 20MP primary sensor (8GB RAM) costs CNY 3,099 (approx Rs 32,200).
As of now, there is no information about the Indian price or launch date.

The new handset is powered by an octa-core (4 x 2.36GHz Cortex-A73 cores + 4 x 1.8GHz Cortex-A53 cores) HiSIlicon Kirin 970 processor along with 6GB/ 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage (non-expandable). It is backed by a 3,750mAh battery.
In terms of optics, the Huawei Nova 4 sports a triple rear camera setup on the back. It combines a 20-megapixel primary sensor with a 16-megapixel 117-degree ultra-wide angle camera (f/2.2 aperture), a 2-megapixel depth sensor (f/2.4 aperture), and a LED flash.
The premium variant sports a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture). Camera features include EIS (electronic image stabilization), 4K video support, AI beauty, 3D Qmoji, PDAF (phase detection auto system), and contrast focus.
For selfies and video calling, the smartphone features a 25-megapixel front camera (f/2.0 aperture, EIS) that is housed in the display hole (4.5mm wide).

The Huawei Nova 4 runs Android 9.0 Pie operating system with EMUI 9.0.1 on top. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C (v2.0), and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The dual-SIM smartphone sports a 6.4-inch display with full-HD+ (1080 x 2310 pixels) resolution and 19.25:9 aspect ratio. It has an 86.3 percent screen-to-body ratio and supports for 96 percent NTSC color gamut. It comes in four color options – Black, Blue, Red, and White.
For security, the Huawei Nova 4 comes with a Face Unlock feature and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Sensors on the device include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, proximity sensor.
