The Huawei MateBook 16 comes with a starting price of CNY 6,299 (approx Rs 71,500). It comes in two color options – Deep Space Gray and Haoyue Silver.
The new laptop is now up for pre-orders in China. Sales will start in on June 1. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price and launch date.
Additionally, the company has launched a new Huawei Smart Screen SE at CNY 3,299 (approx Rs 37,400) and CNY 4,299 (approx Rs 48,800) for the 55-inch and 65-inch models, respectively.

The new laptop is powered by AMD Ryzen 7 5800H/ AMD Ryzen 5 5600H processor along with AMD Radeon Graphics, 16GB RAM, and 512GB SSD storage.
The Huawei MateBook 16 is backed by an 84Whr battery that is touted to offer 12.5 hours of local 1080p video playback. It comes with a 720p HD web camera, two speakers, and two microphones for video calling.

The new laptop features a sleek design with a full-size backlit keyboard. It weighs about 1.99 kg. A fingerprint sensor is embedded in the power button.
The Huawei MateBook 16 runs Windows 10 Home OS. Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, two USB Type-C ports, two USB Type-A ports, HDMI, 3.5mm combo jack.
The 16.0-inch IPS display comes with a resolution of 2,520 x 1,680 pixels, a 3:2 aspect ratio, 90 percent screen-to-body ratio, 300 nits brightness, a 178-degree viewing angle, and a pixel density of 189ppi.

Huawei Smart Screen SE
The new smart display is powered by the Honghu Smart chip and up to 16GB RAM. It runs on HarmonyOS 2 and pairs with the Smart Life app on the smartphone.
Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, two HDMI 2.0 ports, one AV In, one USB Type-A, one SPDIF port, one RJ45, and one DTMB. A child mode helps parents to control what kids are watching.
Additionally, a family camera function allows you to use the TV as a viewfinder when clicking photos. It supports DLNA/Miracast dual-protocol screencasting and Huawei Share support (transfers photos and files on the big screen).

The Huawei Smart Screen SE sports a 13-megapixel AI magnetic camera on top (with a 180-degree rotating fixture). The magnetic attachment allows it to be easily disassembled.
The smart TV features a borderless LCD panel with a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels, a 16:9 aspect ratio, 92 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, and Rhine double eye protection.
The Huawei Smart Screen SE will be available in two sizes – 55-inch and 65-inch. It comes in a single Interstellar Black color.
