The specs of the Huawei Mate X2 have surfaced online. It is expected to come with a folding 8.01-inch large display, Kirin 9000 SoC, and 10x hybrid optical zoom support. Let’s take a closer look:

As per recent leaks and reports, the upcoming smartphone will be powered by a Kirin 9000 processor. It is tipped to be backed by a 4,400mAh battery with 66W fast charging support.
In terms of optics, the Huawei Mate X2 will sport a quad rear camera setup with 10x hybrid zoom. It is tipped to use a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 16MP secondary sensor, a 12MP tertiary sensor, and a fourth 8MP sensor.
For selfies and video calling, the foldable phone is said to come equipped with a 16-megapixel dual front camera setup (placed in a pill-shaped hole-punch cutout).

The Huawei Mate X2 will run the Android 10 operating system. Connectivity options will include dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.1.
The upcoming handset is tipped to use an inward folding design instead of the outward folding design. It is tipped to measure 161.8 x 14.8 x 8.2mm and weigh about 295 grams.
The Huawei Mate X2 is expected to feature an 8.01-inch (2,480 x 2,200 pixels) inward folding display with a secondary 6.45-inch (2,270 x 1,160 pixels) display.

Price and Availability
The Huawei Mate X2 will be launched on February 22. However, there is no information about its price tag and launch date.
The new foldable smartphone is the successor to the Huawei Mate X that was launched in 2019.
