Price and Availability
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro was originally launched in October last year at EUR 1049 (approx Rs 89,100). It is currently available in five color options – Emerald Green, Midnight Blue, Pink Gold, Twilight, and Black. The company also launched a special edition (with imprint – 200 Million Huawei Mobile 2018) at the back.
As of now, there is no confirmation about the price and launch date of new color variants. The specs are features are expected to remain the same. The Mate 20 Pro was launched in India at Rs 69,990 for the 6GB RAM, 128GB storage variant.

The premium handset runs Android 9.0 Pie operating system with EMUI 9.0 on top. The 4,200mAh battery comes with support for 40W SuperCharge technology. However, it also supports 15W fast wireless charging support. Huawei claims that it is the “world’s first wireless reverse charging” technology on a smartphone.
In terms of optics, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also sports a triple camera set up by Leica. It combines a 40-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens (f/1.8 aperture), 20-megapixel ultra wide angle sensor (f/2.2 aperture), and an 8-megapixel 3X telephoto lens (f/2.4 aperture). The 24-megapixel RGB camera on the front comes with support for 3D facial unlocking. Camera features include 3D Live Emoji, with support for GIF and MP4 files.
The new handset sports a 6.39-inch curved OLED display with QHD+ (1440 x 3120 pixels) resolution, a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, DCI-P3 HDR, 86.9 percent screen-to-body ratio, and high color saturation. It is powered by the same HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor. The new smartphone also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and IP68 rating (water and dust resistance).

Recently, Huawei has announced special editions of its Mate 20 Pro and Nova 4 smartphones to mark 200 million shipments. According to International Data Corporation (IDC), Huawei now has a 14.6 percent global market share. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro Commemorative Edition comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. It comes in Emerald color option.
Recently, the smartphone manufacturer launched the Huawei Y7 Pro (2019) in Vietnam at VND 39,90,000 (approx Rs 11,900). Additionally, the new Huawei Y5 Lite is currently available in Pakistan at PKR 16,499 (approx Rs 8,200).
