Huawei Honor 5X Launched In India: Price, Specs & Features

Alongside Honor Holly 2 Plus, Huawei’s Honor brand has launched the successor of Honor 4X, called the Huawei Honor 5X smartphone in the Indian market.

As for specifications, the 5X is powered by an an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor coupled with Adreno 405 GPU. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system wrapped under EMUI 3.1 and features a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution. On camera front, it sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera with dual LED flash and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera.

Backed up by a 3000mAh battery, it is claimed to deliver up to 1.46 days of regular usage time and up to 1.01 days of heavy usage time. The device also supports Quick Charge 3.0 technology which charges the battery up to 50% in just 30 minutes. Honor 5X measures 151.3×76.3×8.15mm in dimensions, weighs 158 grams and comes in Silver and Gold color options.

The 5X flaunts its premium unibody design and features a fingerprint scanner on the rear (below camera) with Fingerprint 2.0 technology which can unlock the device in 0.5 seconds.
