The Huami Amazfit GTR 42mm is priced in India at Rs 9,999. It will be available through Flipkart from September 29 (during the Big Billion Days sale).

The Xiaomi-backed brand launched the Huami Amazfit GTR 47mm model with a price tag of Rs 10,999.

The new smartwatch comes with a silicone strap and a 50-meter water-resistant build. You can choose from Starry Black, Cherry Blossom Pink, Moonlight White, and Coral Red color options.

The highlight of the device is a 195mAh Li-Polymer battery (can be fully charged in around two hours). It offers up to 12 days of usage on a single charge.

The Huami Amazfit GTR 42mm sports a 1.2-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 390 x 390 pixels. It also comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and an anti-fingerprint coating.

The new smartwatch offers notifications and incoming call alerts from a connected phone (Android 5.0/ iOS 10.0 or higher). Connectivity options include Bluetooth v5.0 and GPS + GLONASS (for geo-positioning).

Sensors on the device include a BioTracker PPG biological tracking optical sensor, air-pressure sensor, ambient light sensor, six-axis acceleration sensor, and a three-axis geomagnetic sensor.

The new wearable comes with 12 different sports modes. This includes several variations of running, cycling, swimming, mountaineering, trail running, and workout. The workout data (distance, pace, bpm range, laps, time per lap, etc) is displayed after each session.
