HTC has finally launched its HTC U Play and U Ultra smartphones in India. The smartphones feature HTC Sense Companion, a personal assistant that learns user’s daily patterns and offers enhanced user experience.
As for specifications, the U Play comes equipped with an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor. It features a 5.2-inch Full HD Super LCD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution. The screen is protected against scratches by Corning Gorilla Glass. Based on RAM and storage, it comes in two variants- 3GB RAM+32GB storage and 4GB RAM+64GB storage. The phone supports expandable storage via microSD card.
On the camera front, the device sports a 16 mega pixel camera on the back as well as on the front. The front camera supports Ultrapixel mode for enhanced selfies. It runs Android 7.0 Nougat wrapped under HTC Sense UI. Armed with a 2500mAh battery, the phone supports fast charging and offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC and USB Type C as connectivity options. It features a fingerprint sensor as well for additional security.

The HTC U Play will go on sale in India in mid-March for Rs. 39,990. It will be available in Indigo Blue, Iceberg White, Black Oil and Pink Gold color options.
