Though rumors were indicating that HTC will launch its flagship HTC one M9 in India, the company at an event in New Delhi today has launched larger variant if its flagship dubbed the HTC One M9+ phone alongside HTC desire 326G and HTC Desire E9+ in India. Priced at Rs. 52,000, the One M9+ will go on sale starting early May 2015 through major retailers across the country in two color options- Gold on Silver and Gold on Gold. Besides 32 GB of inbuilt storage, it will come with expandable memory of up to 2TB via microSD storage. Read on to find detailed information on specifications and features of the device.
The One M9+ flaunts its all metal unibody design. As for specifications, the handset comes with 2.2 GHz octa-core MediaTek helio X10 processor, 5.2-inch Quad-HD (2560 x 1440 pixels resolution) display, Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS with HTC Sense 7 UI, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB inbuilt storage (expandable via microSD card), 20 mega pixel HTC Duo camera on the rear, ultrapixel secondary camera, 2840 mAh battery, fingerprint sensor in the home button and BoomSound speakers with Dolby surround sound technology.

After a number of rumors and leaks, HTC has finally launched larger sibling of One M9 dubbed, the HTC One M9+ phone at an event in Beijing. It will go on sale in China first however there is no word on pricing and global availability details of the handset. As for specifications, the One M9+ phone is powered by a 2.2 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6795T processor paired with 3 GB of RAM. The handset features a 5.2-inch Quad-HD display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and runs Android 5.0.2 Lollipop operating system wrapped under HTC Sense 7 UI.
Other specifications of the One M9+ include 32 GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable via microSD card, 20 mega pixel HTC Duo camera on the rear, ultrapixel front facing camera, 2840 mAh battery. Connectivity options which the device offers include LTE , Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC. Additionally, the device features fingerprint sensor incorporated in the physical home button which will also supports biometric authentication for the AliPay payment system in China. It features BoomSound front stereo speaker with Dolby Audio technology and will be available in silver and gold, full gold and gunmetal grey color variants.

Ahead of its official launch on April 8 in Beijing, HTC has teased the upcoming One M9+ phone. As per the teaser, the M9+ will feature a physical home button, MyDrivers reports. Since HTC’s flagships One M8 and M9 do not feature a physical home button, the presence of one such element looks like a big move from HTC in design front. The images also reveal that the event will be held on 8th April 2015 in Beijing. Furthermore, HTC is likely to showcase M9+ alongside E9 phone at the same event. HTC unveiled its HTC One M9 at MWC 2015 event lately, while the company now seems gearing up for the launch of HTC One M9+ handset along with HTC One E9 smartphone. HTC has reportedly sending out invites for an event scheduled on April 8 in Beijing where it is expected to introduce HTC One M9+ and One E9 phones. Though HTC has not revealed any details about the specs, features, price or availability of the handsets, plenty of information is churning up the rumor mill over internet. The HTC One M9+ is rumored to pack a 5.2 inch qHD display. It will be powered by an octa-core 64-bit MediaTek MT6795 processor coupled with 3 GB of RAM.The handset is likely to house 32 GB of inbuilt storage and sport dual 20.7 mega pixel camera and 2.1 mega pixel camera on the rear and a 13 mega pixel camera on the front. It is also expected to arrive with HTC BoomSound speakers, fingerprint sensor and a 2840 mAh battery.
According to Tenaa, the upcoming One E9 will be powered by a 2 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6795 processor coupled with 3 GB of RAM. Running on Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC’s latest Sense UI 7.0 on the top, it will flaunt a 5.5 inch qHD display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. It is rumored to sport a 20 mega pixel rear camera, 32 GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD card) and 2800 mAh battery. The device will support 4G LTE connectivity besides the usual set of connectivity options. It will be released in White Rose Gold, Brown Gold and Metallic Gray color variants.

Priced at Rs. 52,000, the HTC One M9+ will be available available in two color options- Gold on Silver and Gold on Gold with all major retailers in India starting early May 2015.
