MWC 2015 event is just around the corner and smartphone giants have started teasing their upcoming devices. HTC has teased its upcoming flagship smartphone dubbed, the HTC One M9 ahead of its launch. HTC has posted an image on its official Twitter account confirming the launch of HTC’s next flagship on March 1, 2015. The image posted by HTC says “let them share” followed by tag line “the new HTC One” which could be the launch of HTC One M9 at the MWC event. MWC event is still few days far while leaks about specifications and features of HTC’s next flagship have already started churning out the rumor mill. If reports are to be believed, the HTC One M9 will be powered by 64-bit Snapdragon 810 chipset (2.0GHz Quad-core Cortex-57 + 1.5 GHz Quad-core Cortex-A53) accompanied with 3 GB of RAM and Adreno 430 GPU. The handset will run on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop operating system with Sense 7.0. It will sport a 20.7 mega pixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 4 ultra pixel front facing camera. It is further reported to feature a 5 inch IPS display with 1080p resolution. It will be launched in 32 GB and 64 GB variants with 2840 mAh battery.
It’s not just HTC who has teased its next flagship phone. Earlier this month, Samsung also started sending out invites for the launch of its next flagship Samsung Galaxy S6 on March 1 at MWC. The teaser shared by Samsung says ‘What’s Next’ and ‘Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2015′ which could be Samsung Galaxy S6. Samsung’s next flagship will sport an “intelligent” camera which will enable users to capture images under any conditions. It is further expected to be launched alongside another device, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge which is rumored to feature 3 sided display.
