HTC has launched its HTC One M8s smartphone. It is essentially the refreshed version of its flagship device HTC One M8 which was launched last year. Though the device looks identical to its older sibling in design, the M8s comes with some hardware tweaks. As far as specifications of M8s are concerned, it is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.7 GHz coupled with 2 GB of RAM. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with the HTC Sense 6 UI on top and features a 5 inch full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It sports a 13 mega pixel duo camera on the rear while there is also a 5 mega pixel front facing camera onboard.
On storage front, it houses 16 GB inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card. The One M8s packs a 2840 mAh battery. It offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/ A-GPS and NFC connectivity options and will be available in Glacial Silver, Gunmetal Gray and Amber Gold color options.

The predecessor HTC One M8 on the other hand packs a 2.3 GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor paired with 2 GB of RAM and Adreno 330 GPU. It features a 5 inch display with 441 ppi pixel density. The handset runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system with HTC Sense 6. Other specifications include 4 UltraPixel dual tone rear camera with LED Flash, 5 mega pixel front facing camera with BSI sensor, 32 GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card) and 2600 mAh battery.
Price and Availability
The HTC One M8 s is priced at GBP 379.99 (nearly Rs. 35,000) and will go on sale in Europe in early April There is no word on pricing and availability details of the handset in markets outside Europe.
