HTC has launched new smartphone in the Desire series in India, dubbed the HTC Desire 828 alongside HTC One A9 phone. Highlight of this phone is that it is the first phone in the Desire series to come with OIS support in rear camera.
As for specifications, it is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor clocked at 1.5GHz paired with Mali-T760 GPU and 2GB of RAM. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system wrapped under HTC Sense UI, it features a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution. There is 16GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 2TB via microSD card.
On camera front, it sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and OIS (Optical image stabilization). The handset also features an Ultrapixel front facing camera for capturing selfies. Backed up by a 2800mAh battery, it measures 157.7×78.9×7.9mm in dimensions. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The handset also features HTC BoomSound dual front speakers with Dolby audio.
