HTC Desire 10 Pro Hands On Review
Here’s HTC Desire 10 Pro hands on review:
Design
The HTC Desire 10 Pro features a plastic body with Corning Gorilla glass on the front. We have received the White colored unit with matte finish that has striking golden accents around the edges and on the back. Despite plastic build, it does not look cheap. The golden accents add to the beauty of the phone and it feels very premium while holding in hand.
On the front, you get a 5.5-inch display with front camera, earpiece and ambient light sensor above it.
Below it, there are three touch capacitive buttons.
Left edge houses SIM card tray.
Power button and volume rockers are placed on the right edge. The power button has a pattern over it.
The top edge houses 3.5mm audio jack.
Primary mic, charging port and speaker sit on the bottom edge.
On the top left corner at the back, you will find the camera module. Fingerprint sensor and HTC branding are also located on the rear. The fingerprint sensor is fast and accurate and the mono speaker located on the bottom is also loud and clear.
Display
It features a 5.5-inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The screen is protected against scratches by Corning Gorilla Glass. The screen is bright and colors are accurate. Viewing angles and sunlight legibility are also good. Swipe experience on the screen is smooth and it is suitable for watching videos and playing games.
Camera
For photography lovers, the smartphone sports a 20 mega pixel rear camera with dual LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and laser auto focus. There is also a 13 mega pixel front facing camera with f/2.2 aperture for capturing selfies and making video calls.
The camera app has a simple UI and offers numerous modes such as Pro, Panorama, Zoe, Photo, Hyperlapse, Selfie Photo, Selfie Panorama and Selfie Video. Both front and back camera take good shots with plenty of detailing and clarity.
