The Taiwanese smart phone manufacturer finally launched their latest flagship – the HTC butterfly with a MRP of Rs. 49,900 for the Indian market with MOP around Rs. 45,990. This flagship device is the first handset to debut true 1080p full HD display in smart phone market. It sports a 5-inch Super LCD 3 1080p HD 1920×1080 pixel resolution display with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 and highest pixel density of 441 pixels-per-inch.
Technical features of the HTC Butterfly include 1.5GHz Qualcomm S4 Pro quad-core processor with 2GB RAM to deliver best of an Android experience. It has 16GB of internal storage, with an option to expand up to 32GB. The smartphone runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and comes with a layer of latest HTC Sense 4+.
The smartphone also features an 8-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front cameras with connectivity options including HDMI out, Micro-USB, Infrared, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and NFC. HTC Butterfly is powered 2020mAh battery.
The smart phone finally made its arrival to India after launching in Japan as ‘J Butterfly’ and in America as ‘Droid DNA’ since it’s announcement back in October 2012. The smartphone will be available in the market later this month with a MOP that is best buy price of Rs. 45,990.
