HP has launched its new range of enterprise-focused tablets in the Indian market. The seven new tablets introduced by HP include HP Pro Slate 8, Pro Slate 12, Pro Slate 10 EE, Pro Tablet 10 EE, Pro Tablet 408 G1, ElitePad 1000 G2 Healthcare tablet and ElitePad 1000 G2 rugged tablet. As for specifications, the Pro Slate 8 and HP Pro Slate 12 are powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 series processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM. They feature 7.86-inch and 12.3-inch displays respectively and run Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. Both tablets sport an 8 mega pixel rear camera and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera.
On storage front, the Pro Slate 8 comes in 16 GB and 32 GB storage models while the Pro Slate 12 comes in 32 GB storage variant only. All the variants are capable of further expandability up to 32 GB via microSD card. Both tablets offer Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC as connectivity options. Pro 8 is powered by a 21 WHr Li-Po battery while the Pro 12 is backed up by a 37 WHr Li-Po battery. The Pro Slate 8 and Pro Slate 12 tablets come with HP Duet Pen which is the first device to use Qualcomm Snapdragon digital pen technology.
Pro Slate 10 EE runs Android 4.4 KitKat and comes in 16 GB and 32 GB storage variants (expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card) while the Pro Tablet 10 EE runs optional Windows 8.1 Pro or Windows 8.1 or Windows 8.1 With Bing or Windows 8.1 Pro for Education operating system and comes with 32 GB inbuilt storage (expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card). Both tablets pack Intel Atom Z3735G/Z3735F processor options paired with 1 GB or 2 GB of RAM and sport a 10.1-inch WXGA display with 1200 x 800 pixels resolution.
The Pro Tablet 408 G1 tablet is powered by Intel Atom Z3736F Bay Trail processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM and comes with optional Windows 8.1 Pro or Windows 8.1 Pro with Bing OS operating system. It features an 8-inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution while sporting an 8 mega pixel auto focus camera on the rear and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera. It comes in two storage variants- 32 GB and 64 GB which are expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card and packs a 4800 mAh battery.
The ElitePad 1000 G2 Healthcare tablet and ElitePad 1000 G2 rugged tablet are powered by Intel Atom Z3795 processor paired with 4 GB of RAM and feature a 10.1-inch WUXGA display with 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution. They run Windows 8.1 Pro operating system while sporting an 8 mega pixel camera on the rear and a 2 mega pixel front shooter. Both the tablets house 128 GB of inbuilt storage.

Price and Availability
The HP Pro Slate 8 and HP Pro Slate 12 will go on sale in May with prices starting at Rs. 33,000 and Rs. 41,500 respectively. The Pro Tablet 408 G1, Pro Slate 10 EE and Pro Tablet 10 EE are available now with a starting price of Rs. 23,500, Rs. 22,000 and Rs. 25,000 respectively. The ElitePad 1000 G2 Healthcare tablet and ElitePad 1000 G2 rugged tablet are likely to go on sale in July with price starting at Rs. 85,000.
