Honor India has launched the Honor 7x at a starting price of Rs. 12,999 and at this price, this phone comes with some serious camera prowess. We have done a detailed review of the Honor 7x here evaluating all the practical aspects of this phone. In this post, however, our focus is the camera capabilities of the Honor 7x. We will be talking in depth about the camera here and what are our observations about it. Let us get started.

Honor 7x Rear Camera

On the rear of the Honor 7x, there is a dual camera setup. Honor has been in the dual camera business for many years. It is one of the pioneers in this space when it comes to dual camera phones and they have matured their camera technologies much better than most brands. Honor 7x comes with a 16 MP main camera with a 2 MP secondary depth-sensing camera at rear for shallow depth of field effect. The main sensor has 1/2.9 inch sensor with  1.25 µm pixel size. It also offers PDAF or Phase Detection Auto Focus technology which helps to focus quickly and hence avoiding blur.

On the software front, it is loaded with features including an auto mode, beauty mode, time lapse, pro mode, slow motion, watermark, light-paining to name a few. It also gets a very effective HDR or High Dynamic Range as well.

Honor 7x Front Camera

On the front of the Honor 7x is an 8 MP camera. The camera has a pretty wide field of view along with a high-quality sensor. Coupled with a very effective beauty mode software, the camera is able to produce some very impressive selfies. The colour tones are natural, the beauty mode is able to iron out most of the imperfection of skin tone to make pictures look better. Verdict- Honor 7x Camera Review

Honor 7x camera is clearly one of the best we have seen in this price segment. There is hardly any competition which comes close to this quality in this price segment.
