Honor has finally launched its 6X smartphone in China. Under the hood, it packs an octa-core Kirin 655 processor coupled with Mali T830-MP2 GPU. It features a 5.5-inch Full HD 2.5D curved glass display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution. The phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow wrapped under EMUI 4.1.
The Honor 6X comes with a dual camera set up on the rear. It sports a 12 mega pixel camera and a 2 mega pixel camera on the back. There is also an 8 mega pixel front facing camera onboard. Based on RAM and storage, it comes in three variants- 3GB RAM+32GB storage, 4GB RAM+32GB storage and 4GB RAM+64GB storage. All the three variants support expandable storage up to 128GB via microSD card. Fueled by a 3340mAh battery, the smartphone supports fast charging.

The Honor 6X carries a price tag of CNY 999 (approximately Rs. 9,800) for the 3GB RAM+32GB storage variant, CNY 1299 (approximately Rs. 12,800) for 4GB RAM+32GB storage version and CNY 1599 (approximately Rs. 15,825) for the 4GB RAM+64GB storage variant. It will be available in Gold, Silver, Grey, Blue and Rose Gold color options and will go on sale in China from October 25, 2016.
To recall, the predecessor- Honor 5X was launched in India in January 2016 for Rs. 12,999. It comes with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor paired with Adreno 405 GPU. The phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system wrapped under EMUI 3.1 and features a 5.5-inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. On photography front, the device sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera with dual LED flash and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera.
The phone is fueled by a 3000mAh battery and supports Quick Charge 3.0 technology which is said to charge the battery up to 50% in just 30 minutes. It measures 151.3×76.3×8.15mm in dimensions and weighs 158 grams. It features a fingerprint scanner on the back with Fingerprint 2.0 technology which can unlock the device in 0.5 seconds.
