For photography lovers, the Honor 6X comes with a dual camera set up on the rear. It sports a 12 mega pixel primary camera with LED flash, PDAF, Sony IMX386 sensor and a 2 mega pixel secondary camera on the back. The 2 mega pixel lens senses the depth of field and lets users to capture images with blur and also change the focus of the images that have already been taken. On the front, there is an 8 mega pixel front snapper for capturing selfies and making video calls.

The interface of the camera app is very straight forward. Swiping from right to left brings settings menu while swiping from left to right shows different modes. You can tweak the settings for enhanced images. The camera app offers several modes such as Photo, Pro Mode, Beauty, Video, HDR, Night Shot, Good Food, Light Painting, Slow-mo, Time-lapse and more.

Camera Performance
The rear camera takes excellent images in daylight. The images come out to be crisp and bright and have good amount of detailing and clarity with no noise. Low-light shots also come out to be great, thanks to the LED flash accompanying the rear camera. But you can expect a slight amount of noise in some of the low-light shots. It supports auto focus which is said to focus in just 0.3 seconds and during our time with the phone, we found the focusing to be very fast.
The rear camera takes great images with wide aperture and ‘bokeh’ effect. The wide f/0.95-f/1.6 aperture produces professional-grade shots and lets you add blur in the background.
Images taken with the front snapper are also exceptionally good. The front camera has 77-degree lens along with a Prism ISP. It comes with auto portrait touch-up software and skin-color detection to produce stunning selfies. You also get Beauty mode in the camera app that adds more charm to the selfies. All in all, we are really impressed with the performance of both rear and front camera of the Honor 6X. The rear camera does a wonderful job in producing images with ‘Bokeh effect’. Equipped with outstanding dual lens rear cameras and a capable front camera, the Honor 6X has been created to keep your memories pristine for lifetime.
What makes the Honor 6X even more enticing is its affordable price tag. It carries a price tag of Rs. 12,999 for the 3GB RAM variant and Rs. 15,999 for the 4GB RAM variant.
