The Google Nexus 9 LTE variant which was unveiled last year in 2014, has now been launched in India. This device is essentially the LTE variant of the Google Nexus 9 Wi-Fi only tablet which was launched in December 2014 in India. The Nexus 9 tablet is powered by 64 bit NVIDIA Tegra K1 Dual Denver processor accompanied with 2 GB of RAM and Kepler GPU. It features an 8.9 inch IPS LCD QXGA display with 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 protection and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. Nexus 9 LTE variant sports an 8 mega pixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a 1.6 mega pixel front facing camera. The tablet houses 32 GB of internal storage. It packs a 6700 mAh battery which is rated to deliver up to 720 hours of standby time and up to 9 hours 30 minutes of browsing time on Wi-Fi. Connectivity options include LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC. It comes equipped with ambient light sensor, gyroscope, accelerometer, and magnetometer sensors as well.
Notably, only 32 GB LTE version of the tablet has been listed on the e-commerce portal. It is not sure whether 16 GB storage variant of the same will be launched or not.
