Gionee has launched a new smartphone in the Indian market, called the Gionee P7. Under the hood, it packs a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Amigo 3.2 and features a 5-inch HD IPS display with 1280×720 pixels resolution. The screen is protected against scratches by soda lime glass.
The P7 houses 16GB of internal memory and supports expandable storage up to 128GB via microSD card. For photography lovers, the device sports an 8 mega pixel primary camera on the back with LED flash. There is also a 5 mega pixel front facing camera with Screen flash for capturing selfies and making video calls.
Fueled by a 2300mAh battery, the company claims it to deliver up to 259 hours of standby time. Connectivity options which the dual SIM phone offers, include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS. It comes pre-loaded with several features such as text recognition in pictures, GIF creator and intelligent photo crop. On the design front, the smartphone features a transparent and glittering 3D mirror back with ripple pattern. The back of the phone has an arc for comfortable grip.

The Gionee P7 carries a price tag of Rs. 9,999. It is available to buy across India in White, Grey and Gold color options.
