Gionee P5W With 5-inch Display Launched In India At Rs. 6,499: Specifications & Features

Gionee has expanded its smartphone portfolio with the launch of Gionee P5W smartphone, in India.

Under the hood, the P5W is powered by a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with Mali-T720 GPU and 1GB of RAM. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system wrapped under Amigo 3.1, it features a 5-inch HD IPS display with 1280×720 pixels resolution. On storage front, it houses 16GB of internal memory which can be expanded via microSD card.

For photography lovers, it comes with a 5 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera. Backed up by a 2000mAh battery, it measures 143.3x72x8.9 mm in dimensions and weighs 153 grams. Connectivity options which the handset offers, include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. It will be available in White, Black , Blue, Red and Yellow color options.

The handset supports OTG and comes with a new customized lock feature, called the AMI lock. Users can also unlock the phone within 0.5 Sec by scanning their face through a Face unlock feature.
