The Gionee Max is priced in India at Rs 5,999. It will be available in Black, Red, and Royal Blue color options. Sales start on August 31 via Flipkart.

The new smartphone is powered by an octa-core Unisoc 9863A processor and 2GB RAM. The 32GB internal storage can be further expanded via a micro SD card (up to 256GB).
In terms of optics, the Gionee Max sports a dual camera set up on the back. It combines a 13-megapixel primary sensor with a depth sensor.
For selfies and video calling, the handset sports a 5MP front camera (housed inside the notch). It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports reverse charging.

The Gionee Max runs the Android 10 operating system. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a Micro-USB port.
The dual-SIM smartphone features a 6.1-inch display with HD+ (720 x 1,560 pixels) resolution and a 2.5D curved glass screen protection.
In terms of dimensions, the Gionee Max measures 148 x 70.9 x 10.75mm and weighs 185 grams. Sensors on the device include a proximity sensor and a G sensor.
