The Sports watch manufacturer has relaunched some of the popular smartwatches with solar charging technology. Additionally, it has launched a new series. Let’s take a closer look:
Garmin Fenix 6 Solar Edition Series
Both the Fenix 6 Pro Solar and Fenix 6S Pro Solar come with a Garmin Power Glass solar charging lens over their dials that help adds battery life when outdoors.
The company claims that with “sufficient solar exposure”, the Fenix 6 Pro Solar can last up to 16-days. It has a battery life of 14 days indoors.
On the other hand, the Fenix 6S smartwatch gets up to 10 and a half days of battery life with “sufficient solar exposure”. It can last around 9 days indoors.
Garmin has also added some new features to both smartwatches. This includes tracking surfing, mountain biking, and indoor climbing.
An Advanced Sleep Monitoring offers a detailed sleep breakdown of light, deep, and REM sleep stages along with respiration during sleep. Whereas an Acclimation Widget tracks current elevation along with pulse oxygenation.
