The new rugged smartwatch features a fiber-reinforced polymer case. It comes with thermal, shock, and water resistance build. The wearable has a US MIL-STD-810 rating. It comes in Flame Red, Graphite, and Tundra color options.
The Garmin Instinct comes with an inbuilt 3-axis compass and barometric altimeter. Additionally, it supports multiple global navigation satellite systems (GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo) and comes with a wrist-based heart rate monitor.
The smartwatch comes pre-loaded with multiple sports modes like running, cycling, swimming, climbing, skiing, rowing, weightlifting, and yoga. It can be paired with your smartphone. The Garmin Connect online fitness community offers functionalities like automatic uploads, live tracking, and the GroupTrack feature.

Recently, Garmin launched the Fenix 5X Plus multi-sport watch at Rs 79,990. It features a scratch-resistant sapphire lens. The ‘Chroma Display’ comes with LED backlighting for better readability. The company claims that the new wearable can last up to 18 days in smartwatch mode, and 11 hours with GPS/ music enabled. Additionally, an UltraTrac power-saver mode can extend battery life up to 64 hours.
The fitness-focused smartwatch also comes with an inbuilt GPS and Galileo tracking. The inbuilt music storage allows you to store up to 500 songs. You can also download offline playlists from select music streaming services (including iHeartradio and Deezer) or transfer music directly from a PC.
Previously, the Garmin Vivoactive 3 Music GPS smartwatch (with integrated music) was launche at Rs 25,990. It comes with features like a heart rate monitor, GPS, contactless payments through Garmin Pay, 7 days of battery life, a swim-safe build, and access to Garmin Connect IQ app store. Users can also customize widgets, free watch faces, data fields, and apps.
