The premium smartwatch comes with fitness-focused features. It features built-in activity profiles for running, cycling, swimming, skiing, paddle sports and trail running. A Body Battery feature helps you optimize your body’s energy and plan accordingly. It uses collected data to gauge one’s energy reserves at any moment.
The GPS-enabled wearable also comes with the ability to store up to 1,000 songs. It also allows you to sync your favorite music from streaming services like Spotify. Additionally, you can transfer music from your computer.
The new smartwatch comes with a battery life of up to 2 weeks in smartwatch mode. It can run up to 10 hours in GPS mode with music, up to 40 hours in GPS mode, and up to 60 hours in Ultratrac mode.

Garmin is a US-based wearable brand. The new smartwatch is the latest addition to its flagship Forerunner series. It was globally launched last month, alongside the Forerunner 45, Forerunner 245, and Forerunner 245 Music.
“With the launch of Forerunner 945, we aim to add more thrill and adventure for the running community. The watch comes with exciting features like premium music services, VO2 max, aerobic and anaerobic training effect, and incident detection,” said Ali Rizvi, National Sales Manager-Garmin India.
The Garmin Forerunner 245 and Forerunner 245 Music GPS-enabled smartwatches are priced in India at Rs 29,990 and Rs 34,990 respectively. Apart from the core tracking functions, the Garmin Forerunner 245 and 245 Music come with more running specified features. This includes dynamic running tracking and a pulse oximeter.
The waterproof devices also come with swimming profiles. Other features include VO2 Max monitoring, training status (with adjustments for heat/ recovery time), and aerobic/ anaerobic training effects.
